French Tobacco pairs a sparkling citrus front with a leafy, slightly sweet tobacco core. It reads as polished and classic rather than heavy, with a gentle spice running through it.
It opens with blood orange, green apple and mandarin, juicy and crisp. The heart brings green tobacco leaf together with neroli, cinnamon and ginger, warm but still airy. In the dry-down, guaiac wood, lemongrass, luban and iris leave a smooth, woody, faintly powdery finish.
It suits cooler days, evenings out and anyone who likes tobacco without a thick, smoky weight. Tobacco blends can shift a lot on skin, so a decant is a sensible way to test it. Wear it for a week across different weather before committing to a full bottle.
